Party and Event Solutions is a sole proprietorship owned by JANILE FILORA CALINAWAN TAO a Filipino-Chinese businesswoman/ Registered Nurse, a mother of one daughter, and works as a full-time nurse of a Non-government organization.
This online party and event coordination business started in SEPTEMBER 2013 through Facebook page, Istorya.net, and Sulit.com.ph (currently known as OLX.ph). The following year, it was registered at Department of Trade and Industry Philippines (DTI) last SEPTEMBER 23, 2014 for Business Name Registration.
Before it started, the owner, Janile Filora Tao had no idea that she will be having this kind of business. When her daughter turned one, she hired an event coordinator and got a party package but she was the one looking for items for the loot bags and prizes, looking for venue, and catering services because she always wanted to do everything by herself as much as possible. Since then, she already had a little idea on balloon decoration and organizing kiddie party. During her daughter's 3rd birthday, this time, she was the one organizing everything from food, venue, party items, giveaways, prizes, and balloon decoration set up.
Her sister-in-law and her photographer friend encouraged her to have it as a business because they knew how meticulous Janile was in regards with details and ideas regarding themed coordination. She started to make negotiations with the suppliers she was able to book for her daughter's previous parties.
It was indeed effective, because in that same month, she was able to book various services, and it became monthly. She started coordinating Birthdays, Christenings, and Baby shower. Then eventually, she agressively started to coordinate Weddings and Debuts which somehow turned out to be successful.
Furthermore, she is so thankful to God. Because if not of her consistent prayers and gratefulness, she would not have gained wisdom and courage to continue the business she started. She has been so thankful that her clients really trusted her credibility and knowledge with regards in organizing events.
